After a long and tiring semester, and a long and tiring year, the Festival of DioNICEus is a relaxing process where troupe members were given the opportunity to do the art they wanted to do, on their own time. It is a true festival where a variety of personal projects can happen as long as they all fall under the general umbrella of “light-hearted, comedic” classical and classically-inspired work that is not Shakespearean. They’ll also appear on the DioNICEus website after the live streams. Throughout April, Artistic Directors Daniella Ignacio and Siena Maxwell also led a series of play readings for the troupe.
